This vacancy is for the owner's engineering renewables team for major offshore wind projects.
Job Description
To provide management services issues to clients looking to design, engineer and construct offshore wind projects.
Will have a demonstrable track record of working on a similar project and will be responsible for writing specifications, assessing tenders, advising contractors on requirements through award and managing the technical aspects of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and interface management;
Perform technical contract negotiations with suppliers;
Participate in development and optimization of new solutions for offshore wind turbine installation;
Plan and analyse the strategy for project implementation;
Advising clients on issues of project construction;
Providing regular reports on the status of the projects for senior management
Competencies
You are decisive and have strong planning and facilitating skills. Furthermore, you are enthusiastic, result-oriented, customer focused, resourceful and creative. You are characterized by having strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong conceptual problem solving capabilities and you are willing to travel.
Candidate Specification
Experience of working on offshore wind projects
Project management experience within renewable energies
A degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
Fluent English and German speaker.
