Description:
The EU based client has offices world wide. Its Blades business is responsible for the global production of wind turbine blades and they have eight factories in Europe, Asia and America.

Responsibilities and Tasks
Your main function, as a member of the Quality Performance Team is to establish the right information flow across the entire value chain, linking the actual process performance with the key customer requirements and satisfaction drivers.

You will be a member of the Quality Management global team and you will work closely together with other departments in the Blades unit – Production Engineering, Production Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and across the eight factories. In addition you will have a strong interface with other Business Units.

Your primary tasks will be:
• Ensure value chain performance reporting, continuous follow-up and transparency of cost of quality, as well as other Quality data
• Access to relevant databases and systems to collect necessary data for root cause identification
• Coaching and support of main stakeholders in Exploratory Data Analysis
• Maintaining the reporting system for enabling the organisation to view and react on performance results across the value chain immediately
• Make recommendations for the organisation based on performance data and identified root causes
• Reporting on quality data
• Identify problems in data and react on them
• Build Relationships with factories

Qualifications and Work Experience:
You are probably a qualified engineer (production/mechanical) with a minimum of 3 years of experience within Quality. Preferably, you have experience from the Automotive, Aerospace Industry, Wind industry or ideally, blades for wind turbines. Furthermore, you are quality conscious, and the combination of your analytic skills and your systematic work approach enables you to keep the overview. You enjoy working in a dynamic organization where change, variety and a quick pace is a part of the workday.

In addition, the ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Experience with Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis (CAQ) packages, such as QDA (ASI Datamyte), SAS, etc.
• Qualified and experience Six Sigma Black Belt
• Experience with blades manufacturing
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills, being skilled in SPC
• Experience with continuous improvement activities with specific knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and the according toolboxes at Black Belt level.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deliver quickly and adapt to changing demands
• Customer-focused, result-oriented and excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Effective ability to prepare written materials and reports
• You speak and write English fluently
