Responsibilities and Tasks:
We are looking for a charismatic and strong Sales Director to manage our UK sales team . This is a key role with the outmost importance to us, since the UK is the no. 1 offshore market. It is a challenging, demanding and very exciting role that calls for just the right personality combined with just the right work experience. With your ability to succeed in this role, you have the chance to put your personal touch on the future sales organisation and growth of the UK Offshore market.
The main areas of responsibilities cover:
- Build employee loyalty and satisfaction at high level
- Build winning, learning culture and quality mindset
- Build bridge knowledge-wise between DK HQ and UK Sales operations
- Participate actively in the Offshore Sales Management Team
- Contribute to Offshore Sales objectives
- Spearhead UK offshore wind Round 3 activities
- Position our value proposition in the UK offshore industry, e.g. through presentations at conferences
Qualifications and Work Experience:
We expect you have a MBA, relevant university degree and or institute qualification, education and experience from the construction and or engineering industries combined with commercial and contractual applications and or skills, is a requirement. Along side with this, we would like to see:
- People management skills – preferably from project sales operations
- Leadership ability and/or previous managerial experience with project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and lead complex, cross-functional teams.
- Cross-cultural understanding from positions in global / international business
- Strong business acumen, influencing skills and leadership capabilities
- Strong persuasive and negotiating capability
- Experience in delivery of Board level and conference presentations and demonstrations;
- Able to work independently + lead and motivate outside formal structures
- Superior conceptual thinking, analytical and creative problem solving skills - structured and logical mindset
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to deal with multiple priorities and differing points of view in a challenging environment
- Relationship and network with UK offshore players, e.g. large-scale utilities
- Sociable, empathetic and trustworthy
- Thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, virtual working environment
- Self-motivated drive with a hard-working capacity
- Experience from large-scale, lengthy and complex B2B project sales
- UK offshore wind industry and/or large-scale construction knowledge
